Details of the Easter Weekend running at the DFR:
Good Friday - Our Class 14 Birthday Party!
As our two Class 14's (D9521 and D9555) are celebrating their 50th year we've scheduled a day for them to stretch their legs and strut their stuff! A mix of passenger, freight and double heading will fill the day.
Easter Saturday & Sunday
The official re-launch of our GWR 'Prairie' 5541. After a 10 year and £120,000 restoration 5541 will return to service. Joined by Wilbert we will have two steam engines working, with passenger and freight services. The Class 14's will be out working alongside.
Easter Monday
5541 will be hauling the passenger set, and joined by our Class 108 DMU unit.

Quick update:
D9521 has had a wash and brush up and is ready to go!
D9555 has been worked on for the past few weeks and has been passed fit to run
5541 was out yesterday with a rake of coaches on test and had no issues
Let the games begin!
