Thanks also to everyone who posted pictures of 60022 from yesterday, like all liveries it seems to have brought out some 'greats' and some 'yucks', personally I like the colour but I'm not so sure about the embellishments like the '60022' and 'MR' typefaces, look forward to seeing it out and about in the near future, makes you wonder what's in line for 60013 and 60060 when they're ready

My mate was talking to one of the DCR guys at Derby and he confirmed they have some surprises in the pipeline in terms of liveries of the next locos to emerge.

The standard DC Rail grey isn’t that inspiring, so this is nice to hear.

It is understood that work has recently recommenced on 60013 at Loughborough after a break and that 60060 has overtaken it in the overhaul scheme. 60060 is currently waiting for its power unit to be lifted back in which is understood to be nearing completion off site by Heritage Rail Ltd, after which work can commence on wiring and other internal work.
