That's always been the normal route with a layover at Wigston North, Castle Donington is an alternative in case of engineering work or loco swap / wagon removal requirement at Chaddesden especially if extra wagons have been used such as for Brandon last week, there's also been the odd time it's been routed via Grantham and Nottingham
