I've no idea what roads or paths there are around the site, best bet to start with is to look on Flickr, put in 'Looughborough Brush' and 'date taken' and you may see some pictures that give you an idea, I've seen quite a few with two sets of security fencing so I guess it's not going to be easy, the majority seem to be taken by drone

I walked over that field to get closer to the European 66s when they arrived (still fences and vegetation etc). You would probably need binoculars to get numbers unless someone has recorded the position of each loco.. Think there is also a Class 73 parked there. Also the odd 92.
