DB Working Timetable

Hello all!

Unlike the UK, DB doesn't seem to have much in the way of working timetables. One can easily find passenger timetables, specifically prepared for consumers, but I have yet to see a working timetable including empty movements, and times in and out of depots. Has anyone seen a working timetable that is relevant and accurate? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is the equivalent a Buchfahrplan? Some are available on ebay - dont know whether on line versions are available. Not quite the same as our WTT but the closest equivalent

Having just downloaded the first one i found on Google (!) a Buchfahrplan is more like a Sectional Appendix in many ways. If none of our resident experts comes up with a fuller answer (unlikely!) then try posting a question (in English) on a forum like Drehscheibe-online.

Zugbildungsplan is bit more like our sectional appendix but I agree the Buchfahrplan also appears to cover similar material. The latter now appears to be electronic only.

A buchfahrplan is more like what SNCF used to call 'Horaires Jallones' which is not a full blown working timetable, more like a pathing list/guide, with maximum permitted loadings etc.

European railways mostly use 'zig zag' type working diagrams, which appears to be known as a Bildfahrplan in reference to DB.

Not aware of any full blown source for these, unlike Switzerland where just about every line is freely available to download or print out

That makes decent sense. I'm still looking for something that resembles it, but I've succumbed to the conclusion that I may have to splice together several sources to create my own working timetable.
