Hi all,

I'm travelling out to Germany tomorrow and I bought tickets from Hamburg to Copenhagen on the 13th October online from DB. However I opted to have them posted to me and they still have no arrived.

Does anyone know the best way forward?

Can you not print them off instead?

Interesting, when I've bought tickets will DB and ÖBB it's always been a PDF with a barcode

Most tickets I've purchased from DB have been PDF's, but a couple of times, this has not been possible. Most recently, it was for a journey from Tirano to Nuremberg via Chur and Stuttgart, whilst it also happened with a Budapest to Bremen ticket a few years ago. Presumably, this occurs when the originating railway isn't able to scan the bar codes.

I had that experience when trying to book a Hamburg-Warsaw-Krakow trip this year with DB (ie posted ticket only rather than an e-ticket PDF option).
But if I reduced the search to Hamburg-Warsaw or booked within PKP's 30-day horizon, the PDF option came up.
So it looks more like a reservation horizon issue with the "foreign" system more than a bar-code problem.

The OP is travelling Hamburg-Copenhagen, reservations are optional in winter.
DB is giving me the option of an e-ticket which can be displayed as a PDF or in their Navigator App (both versions will work, I've used them!) OR ticket by post.

However, the OP chose the postal option. I hope they have resolved this by now!
