Are toilets at all DB stations free regardless of whether they are large or small? Or do you need to pay, if so how much? Thanks
They still give that voucher.
I have yet to see a free public toilet ( outside restaurant) in Germany.
Often you need to pay in restaurants too.
I've not come across a restaurant in Germany where you have to pay to use the loos if you're having a meal there. Maybe I've just been lucky.

There certainly are. Many of the larger hyper/supermarkets have ´Kundentoilette´- umsonst=for free. For. ex Kaufland (a supersize Lidl-same concern-and fairly often near to smaller stations). They still give that voucher.

Not really seen it there either. Often give you a code.Certainly common (but not universal) at the likes of McDs though I think we can debate the meaning of "restaurant"![]()

A minimum spend of €2.50 and restricted list of retailers, makes it difficult as wellThe €0.50 voucher is a nice gesture, but I never seem to be able to save them or remember to use them.
Yes, saw it in a Burger King in Bavaria at the end of last year & yet a short distance away outside there was a free public toilet .Certainly common (but not universal) at the likes of McDs though I think we can debate the meaning of "restaurant"![]()
