DB mobile operative, Job security?

Hi all,

What's Job security like with DB, particularly as a Mobile/ground operative?

I'd be leaving a job that I've been doing for 15 years, have good seniority, decent pension, OK (ish) pay, decent holiday entitlement but don't really enjoy anymore.

Very keen to take the role, but don't wanna end up being made redundant in 2 years or so down the line.

Its one of then things, take the risk or not. Obviously you must of heard thing about DB that has put your mind in doubt but whos to say what might happen. Your hear of them losing contracts etc but I have seen them getting others aswell. They are advertising for a lot of vacancies lately which cant be a bad thing. They have been around for years so I would say its entirely down to yourself to decide
