DB Frankfurt to Berlin

Thursday next week I am doing a day return from Frankfurt to Berlin

I booked a train at 0614 that got retimed and so picked 0802.

The train comming back I picked at 1923 got cancelled and I picked 2126 instead

I booked 1st class tickets at their version of our advance tickets so will my tickets be valid on the rebooked trains and how do seat reservations work about transferring them?

your ticket will be valid as it your original train ceased to exists. You don't need to do anything. You can now choose any train you like.
As with reservation, I know there is a way but right now I am not sure how.

Either book new reservations yourself and ask a refund of the original ones, or go to the ticket office and have them rebooked free of charge.

What counts is the expected delay at your destination, if you were to turn up for the booked train at the departure time you booked. For domestic journeys in Germany, if that's 20 minutes or more, then you can use other trains.

also if your train is replaced and has a new train numer. For example if ICE 101 is replaced by IC234 then your booking becomes flexible.
