The fleet of exported DB 92s left the UK a good few years ago now and I just wondered if they're still operational. Is it known which country they're in and if the ones listed are still operational? Any help would be much appreciated
This is what I have but I suspect it's a bit out-dated:

Bulgaria:
92022 (spares donor), 92025 (operational), 92027 (operational), 92030 (operational), 92034 (operational)

Croatia:
92002 (operational), 92005 (operational), 92012 (operational), 92024 (operational)

Romania/unknown:
92001 (operational), 92003 (spares donor), 92026 (spares donor), 92039 (operational)

Bulgaria is correct
Croatian ones have been parked out of use for ages having been replaced very quickly after struggling with the work. I think they were for sale again?

So sad they were sent away and many used for spares. Such a waste of a loco fleet.
Indeed considering that 66s are now used on a number of previous electric hauled flows in UK such as Barking - Mossend automotive and Dollands Moor - Daventry.

I hadn't heard about the Croatian ones being parked up. I wonder (if they are up for sale again) if GBRF would be interested, although saying that, there would be a great expense needed in bringing them back and making them suitable for use in the UK again.

Are there any 92s left on third rail?
I believe all of GBRF's 92s are still fitted with 3rd rail gear, but only 92032 uses it occasionally going to and from Dollands Moor for maintenance at Wembley/Crewe

As was said above -what a waste. I love those locos.
Agree, I dispair of this country sometimes. Would rather run diesels under the wires than use electric locos as one small section may not be electrified or have so many 66s it's cheaper to use them than find an alternative.
Have any ever worked in Hungary? Sure I've seen one abroad but trying to rack my brains as to where. May have been Romania as sure I haven't seen one in Bulgaria and certain not seen one in Croatia.

Last I saw (around a year ago) 003 and 026 were both operational in Bulgaria. Only 022 (which was exported with them in Spring 2017) became a spares donor.

All 12 of the GBRf 92s have shoe-gear fitted, however 006 and 020 are not currently cleared for Third Rail running. The other ten can all work (and have all worked since being with GBRf) on the Third Rail.

032 and 044 (when not in Brush for overhaul) usually use the third rail between Wembley and Dollands. 010, 018, 028, 038 and 043 are also equipped with TVM430 and have all worked at the tunnel at some point over the last couple of years or so. 033 famously hauled GBRf18 on the juice out of Waterloo, even though it'd not put its shoes down for quite some time.
