No sorry, I meant the MMI. I did the final interview with HR and managers at the station a month later via teams.
I did think that seemed odd, never heard of any company doing the whole thing, 2 interviews, in one day! Well done anyway.

What stage are you at, NorthenTech?
Currently holding paper and computer passes but not MMI unfortunately, from last year, but I believe DB make you redo the lot when you go rather than just the MMI. Had an MMI from hell last year so I’m on the back foot when I get a 2nd and last attempt. Bit worrying to say the least..

There was meant to be me and another guy but he didn’t turn up, it did feel strange being alone but the assessor was spot on and very supportive and informative

Does anyone know roughly how long you can/will be in the talent pool (northwest)?
There were people on my course that were in the pool for 2 years , I was only 6 months . But they do say up to 5 years , but you won’t be that long I don’t think.

Not a thing since an email in June saying the role is been reviewed and changes may be made to the position.
Be nice to get an update but it is what it is I suppose.

I have had my medical now for the barking trainee train driver around a month ago now. I have been told verbally over the phone that November is my start date. I have to give a months notice at GwR so I’m starting to get a little anxious I’m reluctant to hand in my notice before I’ve signed a contract. I don’t really have anyone I can ring to chase up what’s happening. Does anyone have any advice or phone numbers that could help me at all please?

I had my medical in July, mate, for trainee driver position and I haven’t heard anything since regarding a start date. Are you for trainee position as well?

a months notice for the beginning of November would be at the end of September so there’s still roughly 3 weeks time for you.

Ahh I’ve been invited for my medical too. Was hoping this was positive and then I would be given a start date in due course.

Same. Just found out today. My medical is end of Sept. Not been given a start date either.

What station have you applied for. Nearly 2 months since my medical, but no contract or start date yet. I’m checking my emails every ten minutes.

yeah trainee train driver role at barking. I had my medical in July as well I thought I’d hear something the same week atleast just saying media all good. I had to resend in some optician prescriptions etc. But yeah there’s still three weeks left but as it gets closer to October you start to panic a little

Northwest region. 2months? Seems odd that as within 2 months things could’ve changed medically wise. Hopefully we get a start date ASAP

Not uncommon, you could start in a years time and same medical is fine, some drivers go up to 3 years without a medical, no difference pre employed or employed regards to statement “thing could change medically wise”

Hopefully there’s some courses planned in for the next couple of months. I’m sure someone on here will know how long the medicals are valid for?

A guy on my course started a year after his medical. They are valid for 3 years.

Depends which test you failed on whether it was a paper or computer one. Some places may let you resist part of the test and accept what you have passed but Unfortunately db make you redo the full amount of tests unless you had passed them all. When were you there? Some people are saying they were on their own in the tests.

Should be a number at the bottom of your letter regarding the interview

I just received an email from the recruitment team and they confirmed there still aiming for November and will send out a contract closer to the time. So atleast I know it’s still on for November and to not make plans etc
