DB Cargo Trainee Driver

Did any of you guys apply for the recently advertised Trainee Driver job with DB for the North West, I know someone who applied and they had an email back saying application will be reviewed after the closing date of Friday 8th March, so figured I had the weekend to brush up my CV etc

Gone to apply today and the position has been took off the job site, I know its at their discretion if they have enough applicants but just wondering if that was the case or anyone who applied had any email to say the job has been pulled?

I applied on Tuesday, had the same email stating the closing date was the 8th March. The original job advert never mentioned a closing date.

* Just noticed the advert for it was edited on LinkedIn yesterday, not sure what was edited but strange to edit it on a Saturday and then remove it on the Sunday, will drop HR an email on the off chance

I had a similar experience as you,
Applied for the JD role in the North East however I had an email back within 11 hours saying I had missed the deadline by 1 day unfortunately, Called HR on the off chance my application may of been accepted, but it was a no go.

I then applied for the Mobile operative role as you mentioned, I've past the tests and had my interview this week. Down to the last 9 candidates now.
