Any idea when 67020 will be going for mods and possibly a new paint job for service with TFW? I have been told about this the other week but was just wondering when it will happen?

No idea if I’m honest! I think TfW are expanding loco hauled services, so this sounds quite believable. Someone with more knowledge could tell you more!

I've been told it's happening at some point but when it will happen I don't know. Guess time will tell on this one.

Not sure on the locomotive front, but they did purchase a number of the ex-Grand Central Mk4 carriages.

They did indeed. Guess they won't have much work done as they have been refurbished already? Maybe a livery change? Have to wait and see really.

The Mk4 TDM (Time-Division Multiplex) system to be replaced by AAR for working with modern diesel/electric locomotives.

I understand 67022 has come out of storage for the same reason? Seen on refurbished bogies on a move to Toton

Yep got dragged to Toton by 020 on 11th Feb (along with 017, 005 and 006).

67022 is at Toton for a repaint. It should then return to traffic - it has received the mods to work with TfW’s Mark 4 stock.
