Wonderful to see this repeated tonight on BBC2. One elderly (& sadly most likely no longer with us) railway enthusiast had the most amazing model railway layout of a section of the Midland line near St Pancras. It all looked scratch built (O gauge?)& of amazing quality. Does anyone know if the collection still exists? Some his memorabilia looked interesting too.

I caught the end of that too.

Funny to to think that only a few days ago I was whizzing down that very section of the MML that that gent had dedicated so much of his life to recreating all those years ago !
