Dashed line on Routeing Guide map

The latest Routeing Guide maps have a dashed line on the EL map (page 81; see attached screenshot). I've never seen this before, and it wasn't on the previous map EL.

What is this supposed to represent? Given the angle of the line, I'm guessing it's the Victoria Line from Highbury & Islington and King's Cross, although it could also be the FCC service to Moorgate via Essex Road.

If this is indeed the Victoria line, does that mean that if map EL is a relevant map for a journey to London (or maps join at London), can one use this stretch of the tube without a maltese cross ticket?

I'd hazard a guess at an 'interavailable' line.

Since Moorgate is a member of London Group (so is Old Street), I would hazard a guess that is what it is. The dashed line is probably intended to mean a limited service, although why they have done it for this map and this map only is anyone's guess.

Calling it 'LONDON' is correct as it has a square not a circle so is the name of a Routeing Group. it makes it very hard to work out which line it's referring to though.

As an aside, the Faversham maps (especially FA) have something interesting going on at LONDON:
FA, FH, FL, FN, FT, FV

Aren't there already some tickets (I'm struggling to find an example sadly) that are valid from finsbury park to tottenham hale that don't feature a maltese cross?

Dashed lines in maps do normally signify tunnels, but I don't think it is clear enough what exactly it means here. Perhaps someone should email ATOC and request an update to the key?

I've noticed that map HI also has a dashed line between Highbury & Islington and London.

I do think their intention is London Underground, however that isn't very clear.

I don't believe that person who replied knows what the routing guide is! It sounds more like they meant the sort of 'routing guide map' as shown below with a dashed line!
