Very nice, save for the livery on the locos and a couple of the coaches this could virtually have been a London Euston - Glasgow Central IC service circa 1972/73.
A visit to Summerlee Industrial museum earlier this year.

Great that another loco is named after a rail photographer - the only one I knew of, in my teens, was 86240 "Bishop Eric Treacy".
I think two other Scottish-biased camera maestros deserve named locos, as well - Bill Verden Anderson & Derek Cross.
