I was there yesterday afternoon, and in the gloomy weather that paintwork sure looked menacing!

Excellent pictures!
I really like Onslaught in this unusual.. livery, and would love to see the loco kept like this for a while.
Although the previous tatty paintwork was authentic to a Warship facing withdrawal in the late '60s, I never really liked the maroon with full yellow ends. For this reason, I am just pleased to see the loco in anything other than that livery - even if it is just grey primer!!
Slightly off-topic, but I'd just like to add that I really enjoyed the WSR gala this year, despite the occasionally unhelpful weather! It was such a shame that the Western suffered a breakdown on the Saturday - hopefully it'll be fixed before too long. I'm aware that an electrical fire was spotted at Crowcombe Heathfield on the Saturday afternoon, (I was on the train at the time). The loco was propelled by our grey friend up to Williton, where it was deposited in a siding. Does anyone know any more info about the Western's immediate future? ie. will it be up and running again by the WSR's September event?
