On-loan D8137 will be in action again on the Barry Island Railway over the weekend of September 6th and 7th as part of the Waterfront Festival - Tall Ship weekend. The loco will be T'nT with steam on the Saturday (20 at the Cardiff end) and with D9521 on the Sunday (20 at the Barry Island end!). Services start at 1100 and finish at 1700.
The service comprises a shuttle every 30 minutes between Barry Island and the Waterfront, where the main event is taking place. This is a FREE event! Travel behind the 20 (and the 14) all day for nothing - but any donations would be gratefully received!
Buffet and shop open as normal.
