Do you know how long D200 has been a non-runner for? I recall it being in use on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway a couple (or then again, perhaps a little longer than that) of years ago.

D200 is a non runner. I am sure it will be in the line for overhaul when time and money allow

I last rode behind D200 at the NYMR in July 2006. It was certainly out of service by May 2007 awaiting generator repairs.

The 37 is operational and has visited several preserved railways in recent years.
The 33 is undergoing repairs at the GCR.
The 41 is undergoing repairs at Neville Hill as part of 'Project Miller'.

I thought that the western was operational. A man who was working in the diesel depot at the nrm said that the 20 and D200 were operational.

I know that the 31 has always been sat in the same place in the Great Hall.
And i also thought that there were plans to mainline certify the 37.

The NRM is a bit like stainmore. They say all locos work but never seem to get any use.

No offence to any working party of these railways.

The Western D1023 ‘The Fusebox’ is out of service with a transmission issue. Unfortunately as it doesn’t have a chimney there is no intention of repair work to take place. Let alone the lack of money to repair her.

Quality, along with the lines of "it was working until it broke"

The 47 and 55 are both operational and main line certified.

Indeed the Deltic was recently certified for mainline use and should be on tours soon, the 47 has been working hard and earning money. From what I was told that had been an issue as it was not donated to earn money but given it was knocking around until a few months ago I'd say that issue was resolved.

It was working at Railfest, seems nobody remembers that Would be nice if they do get it mainline certified as it would make a change from all the maroon 37s on tours (DRS are the exception to that).

The Western will get sorted eventually, the 20 I wouldn't know about and can't see them doing anything other than some cosmetic work. The 31 will never get overhauled, going off what I have been told that is (can't repeat what was said) which is a shame as it would be nice to see a toffee apple on the mainline (working tours)...

I wasn't making 'stuff' up, i was giving information of what i heard.

Just by looking at the outside of a locomotive and it looks tatty, doesn't mean it doesn't work. I mean come on its simple just to start from the outside, then you have a loco that pulls.

Lets get one thing straight. It's Knackered

All I know about D200 is it just keeps getting shunted around don't think that it will be working in the near future

also most of the diesels up at stainmore they work "well at least some of them"
