D stock at Barry Island

Notified by one of my friends and as he didn’t know much about London Underground trains asked me to confirm, but there is now a D stock train stored in Barry Island. Does anyone know why? Doesn’t look cosmetically in the best condition, I’d have thought that the only place they would go would be Newport not for more storage!

7043 is one of the vehicles. It's been mentioned on Facebook that it + another are to be converted into a cafe somewhere.
