I’m looking on Ceské drahy and it shows the mileage of a Praha hl.n to Berlin HBF journey on EC178 as 397km for today, 30/03/23. Does anyone know if that is accurate please?

The European Rail Timetable agrees with 397km.
Some IC (not EC) services do a shunt via BER airport en route.
The mileage will reduce when the Dresdnerbahn route is fully restored at Mahlow, avoiding the current dog-leg via the Anhalterbahn on to the Aussenring and off again.

Thank you, wanted to make sure my RailMiles was accurate.

Its almost certainly tariff KMs, which is what most of Europe publishes, so depends on your requirement of 'accurate' as it is obviously very unlikely to be a clean 397.00km. Eg, Decin-Praha is 129 tariff, shown as 136 with a quick go on on the map.

One variation is if you are routed west of Dresden via Neustadt/Radebeul (north of the Elbe) or via Friedrichstadt/Niederwartha (south of the Elbe).
The former is about 1.4km longer than the latter.
As EC178 stops at Neustadt, presumably it will take the northern route.
