I saw an advert on the side of a bus this morning for Cymru Coonect. This was a brand name I didn't recognise, so I checked it out as soon as I could! It looks as though it's a rail/bus inclusive ticket to palces that are not on the rial netwrok in Wales, such as Caernarfon, St David's, Lampeter, Mold, ruthin and Dolgellau.

Apparently it can't be bought on the bus, by phone or online. Journeys can be planned using Traveline Cymru, but seemingly no other journey planners. Tickets can apparently be bought at any national rail station.

An example on the Traveline Cymru website is Swansea to Aberystwyth. You can go by train via Shrewsbury in 5 and a half hours, or by train and bus and 3 hours and 19 mins, but until now you;d have had to buy separate tickets. Now, customers will be able to buy a through ticket at Swansea. Unfortunately, the site doesn't seem to provide any information on fares, and of course you can't buy the tickets either, so I'm not sure how useful or well known this will be.
