It’s worth noting that you can often (but not always) get a better deal by buying the bike yourself as the shop have to pay commission to the cycle scheme provider so you can’t usually buy discounted bikes.

Its a potential 40% discount off a bike. Granted not off the ticket price but your saving the money through tax. Ours runs through Halfords and you can spend anything up to your voucher price. As long as its from the bike department it's accepted; including anything discounted, on offer or on sale.

Also paying a small amount monthly out of your pay is very different to a big chunk all in one day.
