Cycle spaces in XC 170s

Quick question - where (i.e. which coach/end) are the cycle spaces in a CrossCountry Turbostar (class 170)? I've just realised I have no idea and I've got a reservation for tomorrow morning (Cambridge to Peterborough) that doesn't say!

proberley around the toilet area...cant really say much though as the last time i botherd to go on a 170 was last summer...

It is near the toilet area but exactly where depends on whether it is a 2 or 3 car set. Suggest you ask the staff when you arrive at the station.

There are 2 bike spaces in coach C, next to the disabled toilet. Be prepared to move luggage etc that the Stansted passengers leave there.

What day/train are you intending to catch, and I'll let you know whether it's booked a 2 or 3 car unit?

I caught the 1000 this morning - thanks for all the replies (though I'm afraid I didn't see yours in time, TheBigD). It was a two-car unit, with the bike spaces in coach C next to the disabled toilet as you all said. I don't understand what XC expect you to do with your bike though: one train had a piece of metal sticking out on the same side as the disabled toilet, with a bike symbol above, looking like you were expected to put your bike frame around that (taking out 3 seats in the process) - but my bike didn't fit between the seats! I ended up just putting it against the side opposite the disabled toilet. On the way back, the bike symbol was on the opposite side to the train out so both myself and the other cyclist just stuck our bikes there. I must admit I expected slightly more!
