CV error

Goods evening ladies and gents , I've been accepted and passed my medical and on the countdown to my start date, I've sent my references and now wait. Whilst ensuring my dates and details are correct I downloaded my initial application CV and found some dates and years seem to be incorrect and 1 employment missing. In my other CV they are updated so I sent an out of date incorrect CV with incorrect information so when they check my references and dates I'm sure it will raise a flag.

Is it too late to send the correct CV to HR? Last thing I want to is to begin training then be dismissed for incorrect information on my CV or references don't check out.

I would say it’s definitely the best thing to do in you notifying their HR of the error, and providing the up-to-date details you need to provide.
Just clearly explain what has changed since you sent your initial CV in.

Like you have said, it’s better they know now by you telling them, than them ‘finding out’ once you’re committed in the role. You’ll get that peace of mind too!

As references was a fuss for me too, I can tell you what my TOC’s HR told me, which is don’t worry.

If they have any issue whatsoever with chasing references or trying to fill employment gaps etc, they will contact you and ask to confirm or provide someone else etc like they did for me. They will not automatically dismiss you, they will work with you. At least, that’s what my TOC did.
