Hi I recently had telephone interview and was told that I would hear from them in a week time. But it is nearly 3 weeks. I haven't heard any thing from them. I don't know what to expect? and I keep on checking every 30 minutes. Any past experience or any suggestions please

The TOCs are notoriously bad at this, applications, interviews etc. are usually very, very, slow.

However they said 1 week and it has been 3 so it is perfectly acceptable to give them a call and find out where you stand and when you will be hearing an official response.

I also had a telephone interview and was told the same thing that it would be about a week. It is now 2 weeks today so I have called them this morning to check if there are any updates. They were more than happy to help and gave me the info I needed over the phone.
Just give them a call it is better than going mad with waiting!
TOC is FTPE by the way.

I was told 4 weeks by TOC and heard 6 weeks so best to be patient.

hi i also have had a telephone interview and was told 4 weeks. its 5 weeks today. i have phoned them and they have no updates for me. there going to phone me back later hopefully

Dear friends Some guidance please. I attended the interview and yet waiting for an answer and it is almost 3 weeks over, I was told I would hear it within a week. I did send a follow up mail after 2 weeks to enquire about the status, I had a message saying that I would hear shortly. But to my surprise I could see the same position for the same station been advertised again with new deadline for submitting the applications? Is this yet another position for the same job? or they still have n't got any suitable candidates? Do I have to wait for an answer or can I re-apply for the same position!!??
