Customer Host - Paddington

Hi all!

Quick question - going to re-apply for Customer Host at Paddington when a vacancy appears. Anyone knows what areas they cover/how far do they travel on a typical day? What are shifts like?

In my opinion Customer Host (and ticket office for that matter) jobs would not be the most secure going forward, I wouldn't rush in that direction.

Paddington could probably do any out and back within about 8 hours, Swansea/Hereford/Plymouth being extremities, "four trippers" on a Bristol or Cardiff are now more common due to less stops and faster trains. I suppose 0500 to 2400 might be the limits.
