Someone mentioned Grosmont but that only has a curve 1 way.
Whereas at the other end of the NYMR Pickering has a reverse curve in the platform and quite tight on the radius as well. Tight enough to need check rail.
I know its a preserved line but it still has trains that run onto the network regularly.

I have to jump to defend Ian here, in the OP it does not say it has to be extremely curved, he is just looking for platforms with a curve. He also mentions in the original post that it seemed to curve round forever, one could assume that means he is looking for the length of the curve not the depth of the curve.

Apologies if this has been done before and for the banality of the question.

But coming back from Bristol Temple Meads this evening, first time in 10+ years, it struck me just how curved (and long) the platform (where Napoleans Bar is).

Admittedly I'd had a couple, but looking both ways it just seemed to bend round forever. Being used to straight platforms (in SWT land) it did seem quite wonderful.

Is this the most bendy/curvy platform in the land?? I'm reasonably well travelled on our network but can't think at the moment of one moreso.

Which would make you think he is looking for platforms that are really curved or at least notable.

Berkhampstead is another tight curved station where you had to do the doors from the middle of the train, the fast line was worse as you had to walk a good 10 foot away to see the full length of the train.

Pooles seems pretty straight, there several times a month. I'd think the long platform at Bournemouth is bendier.

Carnforths an interesting suggestion - used to spend a lot of time there when a student at Preston Poly (as was), certainly bendy, I'd say TMs got a greater curve though.

Waterloo and Clapham are pretty straight with only a bend at one end.

There's been a few others mentioned I'm not familiar with.

I take the point that technically the platforms at TM are numbered into two but they're still a contiguous platform structure, so to me its one platform.

Sorry I thought the title and OP was pretty unambiguous, my bad.

PS Have forgotten Fratton just up the road, not all SWT stations have straight platforms. Only relatively recently have they upgraded the repeater and removed the bell.

Preston should be curvy, but the platforms from the parcel offices are not in public use so do not count.

Most of the stations I regularly use are straight or have already been mentioned.

Bristol certainly does have a long curve on the first through platform(s)

Hardly. Platforms 1 & 2 are pain to dispatch longer trains (8+ coaches) but they are distinctly average, not much worse than Hurst Green on the up, Oxted on the down.

London Road (Guildford) on the down is a nightmare curve even for a 4-car. Brighton Platform 7 is also annoyingly curved.

Its the down fast (platform 3) at Selhurst with the massive height difference between train and platform. I imagine it to be impossible to use a wheelchair ramp there.

This may not be included but The Northbound Northern Line Platform at Embankment?

I'm assuming not as this is a NR forum... But yes on LU Embankment Northern Line northbound is a contender (incidentally it is the way it is because this section of track was originally a terminal loop like Heathrow T4)... But I don't think anything can touch Bank Central Line, that must take the joint LU / NR crown.

Most curved stations just have the one, but that compound S-curve at CLJ's higher numbered platforms is crazy.

And yes, Bank and Embankment (Northbound) on LUL are crazy too.

Barnt Green - so much of a curve they used to have some kind of sprinkler system fitted (if I recall) to stop the flanges squealing and annoying the residents.
