I`ve just spoken to Currys today to order my Nikon D300 at the price they gave me 3 weeks ago on offer AWOFF70 as per the website at the time, was for £899.00, apparently I am NOW being told I was given the wrong information and they dont sell D300 body`s only??? but can sell me one with a lens on for £1400.00??, Do these people know what they are doing?, Does anyone know whos doing the best deal at the moment on a D300 body only?

Kelkoo suggests that that the cheapest price is £983 (give or take a few pence).

Pricerunner says £970.

And in the RailUK shop, it's £999.99. So saying that, there is 1 person on there selling a D300 for £900 plus £5.50 P&P.

thanks guys, yes they said it was Currys and they gave me the discount code on the Currys website, I still have the print out, the D300 will no doubt be down to less than £900 in a few month anyway.

I think you can apply this logic to all DSLR's, especially newly released ones, if you carry on waiting you're not takin' pics
