Some months ago, it was announced that the website was to undergo a major update. I note it currently states the vBulletin version used at present is 3.8.9. Is that different to what was being used prior to the current update?

Another matter that I would like to ask is that when this current update if finally completed, will there be any items that were once part of this website that will not appear once the updating is completed?

I am very mindful that all involved in this update are all volunteers.

When there is relevant information to be passed onto the Membership we will of course update accordingly. As to features are we hoping to ensure that there will be no loss of functionality.

The version I'm using has become sentient and taken over my toaster.

Any chance we can have something more mobile friendly that doesn't require so much pinch and zoom?

Agreed, the current mobile themes aren't pretty. It appears they are bare-bones designs to reduce data useage back in the days before widespread 3G and 4G data contracts were available.

This is a known compatibility issue between the current version of the Forum software and certain brands of toaster and we hope to have it resolved with the upgrade. In the mean time, as a work around, please reinstall your toaster and then only use it on alternate Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

Yes! That is certainly something we hope to achieve with the upgrade as we are aware that a lot of people browse the forum on mobile (including us )!

Ah, that sounds familiar - my cosmetic surgeon was saying only the other day that I really have to keep moving fast at high profile social events if I wanted avoid having a lot of nip and tuck.

I wouldn't be surprised if there was a toaster produced by some company somewhere that's net connected
