It doesn't say it doesn't, so I don't see any reason this wouldn't be allowed.

Just like I see no reason the same policy wouldn't apply to other cancellations under the DfTO ticket acceptance policy.

I would imagine that it might get short shrift at an intermediate station (other than Tonbridge) though, as the intention is to allow passengers to easily make through journeys via a diverted route.
