This morning I sighted a 465 unit being freight hauled through Crayford towards London, and judging by the train composition must have been heading up North towards Doncaster works, as that's where these units usually go for work (correct me if this is wrong). I didn't get the exact class ID but it can be narrowed to 465/0 or /1 (not 2, 9 of 466).
Does anyone know if this is just for advanced maintenance or are they being refurbished in some way? If it's the latter I can't see why given all the units now have the SE paint job and I've not heard news of anything else that they could have being done.
I believe though it could be for a refurb case as passing through Doncaster on 3 return trips in the last 2 months I've seen 465238 an 239 there before, though I have seen the latter back in service since.
