Current application on hold - applying for different role?

Hi

Few months back I applied for On Train Hospitality Assistant with First Scotrail.

Went through all the assessments and had an interview, after which I was told that they had given the job to someone else but my application was on hold, pending another role coming up.

I realise these jobs don't come up very often but have been religiously checking the careers page.

I have today seen and applied for another role within the company.

Should I make it clear that I have been for an interview for this other role if they offer me an interview?

Apllication form may well ask if you have applied for another role before and anyway it should be on their database.

First Group are taking over the world, so i'm sure they will know.
