Hi all,

Just wonder if anybody can shed any light on the typical working week of a CSA/RSM? I know that each TOC will have different timetables but are the rota's done on a 4/8/12 week basis? How many days before rest and weekends ect? I know there are a few drivers on the site but for us 'little fish', will we be expected to work 'x' amount of days and then have 'Y' amount of rest?

Again I can appreciate each company is different, of your a CSA/RSM could you let me know what a typical working week looks like?

Thanks

Skippy

I'm an RSM we do four day weeks and 38 hours. Generally don't work more than 3 days in a row without a day off at least. You do long shifts but time off is great. My flat mate says never in work! Haha

Where do you work out of Mattm123? Do you work for XC trains? I am scheduled to start my training next week in Birmingham (3weeks). Any info regarding shifts, responsibilities (obviously not the ones outlined in job discription), career progression ect would be really handy.

Thanks

Skippy
