I guess someone else better posts something. Apologies for my unusable contribution. On the front of station building of the main station of Cardiff it says Caerdydd Canolog / Cardiff Central. The third word (Cardiff) is of course the common English name of the place. The hint for the second word was tinotrunk - tin = can, o stays, trunk = log.
