Google Jamie Masson fishing.
I'm out of touch with a great deal of contemporary life -- the only Masson I'd ever heard of: the French artist Andre of that name (1896 -- 1987). Looks good for Doncaster; but I don't feel that I deserve the next go. @Dale Cooper -- if anyone does, it's you -- clearly, you're cognizant of footballing / fishing bod(s?) concerned.

I don't deserve anything, all I did was justify the "caster" part of your, hopefully correct, answer with a bit of Googling.

Yes it was Don Whillans, and he had skill - in South Yorkshire. (Don Masson was a Scottish Footballer). Not in Doncaster though; it’s somewhere else.

Yardley Wood

With Henley in (Elizabeth) Arden and Stratford-upon-Avon (calling) that must be the most fragrant line on the network.
Yardley Wood it is -- your turn.

I feel that in contrast, a contender for "most unsavoury and not-nice" line, has to be -- not far away -- the long-closed ex-LNWR branch running eastward from Leamington Spa: what with Southam and Long Itchington, and eastern extremity Weedon; and Flecknoe, which just looks and sounds a bit "gross" and mucky.

Thank you.

Next clue:

Many arrive here by bus, some on foot but, surprisingly, none by car.
