Exactly Dale. There could be many examples, and I have no doubt that @Calthrop will know why so many rivers are called ‘Stour’.
Five of them, I gather; all in the more southerly half of England. In fact I didn't know the name's derivation -- "Google is our friend". We learn thence that -- as often with this kind of stuff -- the learned folk don't all agree with each other, as to where the name is likely to have come from.
