Intended as maybe a bit of an additional hint (urban central Scotland's stations largely a mystery to me, though no doubt not to all). People from elsewhere in Scotland often refer colloquially (and not always affectionately) to Glasgow folk, as "Weegies" (corruption / abbreviation of "Glaswegians"). "Could be readable": alternative version of "we read", as opposed to "we hear" -- the name spoken will sound, I take it, something like "Gar-scad-d'n", emphasis on second syllable -- dens for cads, not obvious thus.
