The lateral thinking goes on, splendidly; but not hitting the right name. Everywhere suggested so far, is geographically quite distant from the "answer station" -- least-far-off, has been Barrow-in-Furness. (Dale, your latest might be figured to be in Russia -- very much too far east !)

Yes, indeed -- "kid a minster". (I gather that -- owing to various religio-historical ins-and-outs -- a place of worship which is a Minster: is most often, a cathedral as well; but not invariably so -- Southwell Minster, for example, is not a cathedral.)
