I had a thought; but the "answer station" (the bit to add to "in") therein, is long closed -- that way round, the thing doesn't work.

So to clarify: It's a terminal station operated by GWR, which if preceded by the word 'in' forms the name of another station? If so, is this other station also a national rail station?

That's counter to what you've stated previously. You said in post #15,382, in response to (East) Leigh: "That would work if there were an Inleigh station." So now you're saying the 'other place' isn't a station after all.
