You both fell for it. It's "Decipher this" not "Sounds like". Think again.

Subtlety here, I reckon, beyond my powers of making sense of. Attempting a little comedy: _ in Morse, is T; . _ is A. _ . _ _ could be "TAT" -- is that maybe a popular nickname, in the area served by that station, for Tattenham Corner :E ?

Not Elephant & Castle, but I know the elephant joke. Why do elephants have big ears ? Because Noddy won't pay the ransom. (That is terrible!!)

It's a variant of the one you gave; "Noddy won't pay the rent". Even worse!
