Further hint:- The original clue I set was Pals hike from Arizona to Ontario. After some thought, I decided that was too easy so I decided to edit it.

Passed the 24 hour mark - time to reveal the answer which is Shiplake. Anagram of Pals hike (Friends trek) from the (USS) Arizona to Lake Ontario. A hike or trek might prove difficult - a sea voyage more likely. Open Floor!
