How about Acton Central?

The first part of a play is Act One

minus the e for energy gives you Acton

Central = pivotal

No takers on this one, so as 24 hours have passed, I will reveal the answer which is:- Queensbury
Vicerinter = Vic (toria) + ER (Elizabeth Regina) + inter = to bury

Open floor if anyone would like to step in.

Mouchoir escaping the breast? A gentleman's solution!
Manchester Piccadilly? (According to Wikipedia a piccadil is "a large broad collar of cut-work lace that became fashionable in the late 16th century and early 17th century"; perhaps a gentleman could use it to wipe his nose after his handkerchief had escaped from his breast (chest) pocket.)

Yes, I am clutching at straws.
