I have no idea who/what Ruane is but Crabtree could be a reference to Shirley Crabtree, the wrestler 'Big Daddy' of 1970s fame (although there is a pub of that name near Craven Cottage), so I will guess Wressle is the answer (and not Shirley, unless there is a Shirley Ruane who I don't know about).

(Ruane was the name of a station on Ireland's 3ft. gauge West Clare system, running out of Ennis -- but it would seem very unlikely for a station, and line, closed almost sixty years ago and not in the UK, to have any relevance here )

Well done, perryman. Crabtree was indeed Shirley Crabtree, 'Big Daddy'; our Ruane was Martin Ruane (1946-1998), better known as Big Daddy's most notorious adversary, Giant Haystacks. The two did of course wrestle, hence Wressle.
