Edit:

(Can I also ashamedly ask for help with the solution to the last cryptic clue set by me123? I've wracked brain but it's not coming up with anything. Am I missing something obvious? :) )

Excellent, that was quick!

I often wonder if the posters should put the reasons for their solution up, or would that be patronising?

There are a few recently that I haven't understood, including the one Karl said, I must say!

If you didn't get Karl's reasoning:

Disappeared horse = Shergar
Missing twisted rag = deduct anagram of 'rag'
Brought = Borne

Do you mean Waterbeach? If so it was an anagram of Abertawe (Swansea) + CH (Switzerland)

Good idea. I can understand most of the answers once they are revealed, but I agree some still baffle me and I feel a dork asking for the explanation :) LOL

Next clue,

Put up for sale some agricultural land.

Aargh - so obvious now!

No so obvious, it took me three goes and a hint before I cracked it.

Never be afraid to ask, I've had to do so on several occasions and I'm always happy to explain one of mine.

What about Ash?

If a station was destroyed by fire, that would be all that was left.

It is Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch.

Your turn.

PS. It took me ages to work out that anagram.:p

OK.

How about

Jeremy Corbyn earns a large salary as leader of the opposition, but conceals the location of his second home.

No it isn't Corby, but you are right about conceals.

A lot of English people have second homes in Wales, if that helps.
