No.

The station I am thinking about is in England, but you would think the place it apparently serves is in Scotland.

I went right through the National Rail stations list with that notion in mind, and ??? Am suspecting that the station is not NR (not asking for a hint -- just musing). Further research planned.

The station is definitely a National Rail station, but you wouldn't be able to go there today or on Friday, but you can go there tomorrow.

Location
Mulholland Drive
Not much inspiration so far, but viaduct suggests something like bridge, so I'll start with Bridge of Orchy since Orchy sounds like orca, the "killer whale", so called.

It's not Bridge of Orchy; that is one I'd considered but rejected because Orchy and Orca aren't quite close enough.

Yes it is Carshalton Beeches.

Kildale?? (The "dale" part: Dale Robertson [1923 - 2013], American actor and expert horseman who played cowboy roles in many Western films in the 1950s and '60s.)
