Near enough, what I was after was Custom House for ExCel
The site of a specially built (Custom) shelter (House) as supplied to (for) the former (Ex) Lebanese Railway (Cel)

Hint: station is not on the National Rail system -- it would belong in the "heritage" ballpark.

Additional hint: the station concerned, was instituted not a hugely long time ago. It is much "younger" than the railway on which it stands; which over its not-much-short-of-a-century's history, has seen many coming and goings of lesser intermediate stations.

Right country, wrong station.
I've gone through the whole list of SR stations; and total bafflement remains. Have found four random-marginal-crazy ones -- picking at random one thereof, Carstairs comes up. I don't imagine for a moment, that that will be the right answer.

Correct although it is on the Borders Railway which is part of National Rail, owned by Network Rail and operated by ScotRail.
