No it's not Thorntonhall, neither is it Thornton Abbey nor Thornton Heath. I didn't realise there were so many chocolate related stations.

I never said any of the other answers were valid all I admitted was that other stations had chocolate connections however chocolate is only one part of the clue. There is always a particular logic to my clues which leads to one answer, if by chance another answer precisely accords with that logic I might allow it, so far that hasn't happened.
As for mind reading, yes to an extent that's what cryptic clues are about, you have to try and imagine the thought processes of the setter.
To make my point more strongly and in doing so give a hint; none of the answers so far have had any connection with "study".

So, just throwing this one out there to show line of thought, but don't imagine it to be correct.
144 could refer to letter positions = AD(D)
Fish could be = ling
100 could be = ton (after fish)
