Assuming that Seacook's guess of Esher is correct then my guess for his clue is Royston - arrived at with "A story about not very much" - but I will wait until both are confirmed correct or otherwise before posting the next clue. (Sorry not to practise what I preach: posted this while I had the guess in my head and before I go to work.)

The answer is not Royston. Had it been then I would have clued it as an anagram of 'no story' or indicated dropping one T with 'timeless story' or the like.
