Yes - I was beginning to wonder if I were the only person on this forum who appreciates those wonderful Flanders and Swann lyrics!

"Slow Train" [which appears on the album "At the Drop of Another Hat"], was written when the Beeching Report was first published. Interestingly, Chester-le-Street avoided the axe, of course, and Chorlton-cum-Hardy now has a new life.
